theme song
Yo! Time to Unveil the
Theme Song for the YPM Camp 2005: ReZoLuTiOn!!
the song is a beautiful, meaningful one - written some time back by one of the most anointed song-writers of our time."Knocking on the door of heaven"
by Matt Redman & Steve Cantellowthe lyrics of the song are here below:(Verse)
We will give ourselves no rest
'til Your kingdom comes on earth;
we've positioned watchmen on the wall.
Now our prayers will flow like tears,
for You've shared Your heart with us.
God of heaven, on our knees we fall.
Come down in power;
reveal Your heart again.
Come hear our cries,
the tears that plead for rain.
(Chorus)
We're knocking, knocking on the door of heaven.
We're crying, crying for this generation.
We're praying for Your name to be known
in all of the earth.
We're watching, watching on the walls to see You.
We're looking, looking for a time of breakthrough.
We're praying for Your Word to bear fruit
in all of the earth. (all of the earth.)

remember "The Simple Way"
This saturday, we will have "The Simple Way" (an evangelistic outreach) at YPM. All are encouraged to bring their classmates and friends for this special YPM service.Continually pray for this evangelistic outreach - all the people involved (those giving testimony - helu, waynne; the speaker - matthew chern; the dancers - joanna & team; the skit-ters - zhirong & others; the planners - moses foo, caleb koh, sean, eefoo etc) pray for all the ypm-ers who are going out to approach, invite & bring people for "The Simple Way".Personally, i am very excited about this evangelistic outreach... i believe that the whole idea about "the simple way" is really intriguing - i look forward to hearing what matthew has to share on saturday... beyond saturday's evangelistic outreach, i believe it demonstrates our young peoples' ministry ability to receive newcomers (as enabled & empowered by the Holy Spirit, of course)... and that is something i hope to see by the time of the YPM camp, or just after it... this is the true test of the maturity of our (young peoples') ministry...message from the chair AmEliA tAN
coming soon...
when i find the time, i will be podcasting/posting about the Theme (ReZoLuTion), how, why; The Theme Song (reveal later on :P ); The Theme Verse (acts 20:24)...Issues about the Camp Site...Issues about the Camp Committee... et cetera...Also soon to come,more layout changes... to streamline the layout of the blog...and to implement categorization.Furthermore, i wanna create a "how-to" tutorial section to help those who wanna try-out this RSS Feed kinda stuff... :)message from the chairAmeLia tAn

ReZolution YPM Camp - search for us
I'm pleased to inform you that one of my dreams for the site is
"fulfilled" :)http://www.blogger.com/ has this
"Blogger Search" program that will search through different blogs for you.
If you try typing in a few key phrases (e.g. YPM Camp ReZolution), you should be able to locate this site from within the first 10 results... So just in case some of your friends can't remember the blog-address, just tell them to visit the
blogger-start site and search for us there.
Meanwhile, i was pleasantly surprised to discover a new site
YPM Prayer Link, through this method of searching blogs.
This is a blog created by Calvin Low, our super-duper Prayer i/c. Do visit that prayer companion site often... as we update you about prayer requests and/or you leave your prayer requests there. Watch for more to come! *exciting, ain't it*agape,

goodbye old layout, hello new 1

Yo! itz done! a new layout for this site....
a final glimpse of the old layout is captured in the screen shot above...
see the marvellous change! :D
apologies... 4 big dreams
hey there everyone...
i apologize for lack of any updates/ podcasts (message from the chair) / posts etc recently... i've been really busy these few weeks since that 1st camp com meeting.
i took a course at East Asia School of Theology (EAST) for a couple of weeks, and i was busy doing my homework for a while... in fact, i just handed in the second (& last) assignment on mon this week. God willing, there'll be a place where i can share what i learnt at that course with you & other ypm-ers...i've got *BIG DREAMS* for this site... but haven't really been able to do anything about making those dreams come true~~... or at least, not yet...
- One idea - i muz set up the keywords or something... Find out how to get this blog-site "found by google".. itz very ambitious, i know... But itz really important! Just imagine, if/when people search using Google.com and type the words "Church of Singapore" + "YPM" + "Young People" + "YPM Camp"... and this site comes out on the first page (i.e. first 10 results)... Just think of the possibilities... :) :)
- i'm still working on the new layout/ template... i hope to put some "major" changes up soon, like by the end of the week... :P
- i like this "category" idea. and i'm trying to incorporate it into the site. But that will be a challenge, coz blogger.com doesn't seem to offer it easily (as yet)... so i'll really have to "squeeze brain juice" to think how i can make categories and link them correctly, and properly categorize each post.
- i realli hope that this site can slowly develop into something close to a forum (tho' not exactly lah)... a common place for "community-building" and vision-casting... feedback... comments are the real way i hope to hear from different ones in YPM. just leave any kinda message. LEMME Know our Young People's Ministry is alive! :P i don't think i'll be putting any tag-boards up - simply coz i don't see why tag-boards need to exist.
Okay.
such a long post... signing off for now.
(are you subscribed on atom yet? :)Ja mata ne! (bye bye)
