apologies... 4 big dreams
hey there everyone...i apologize for lack of any updates/ podcasts (message from the chair) / posts etc recently... i've been really busy these few weeks since that 1st camp com meeting.
i took a course at East Asia School of Theology (EAST) for a couple of weeks, and i was busy doing my homework for a while... in fact, i just handed in the second (& last) assignment on mon this week. God willing, there'll be a place where i can share what i learnt at that course with you & other ypm-ers...
i've got *BIG DREAMS* for this site... but haven't really been able to do anything about making those dreams come true~~... or at least, not yet...
- One idea - i muz set up the keywords or something... Find out how to get this blog-site "found by google".. itz very ambitious, i know... But itz really important! Just imagine, if/when people search using Google.com and type the words "Church of Singapore" + "YPM" + "Young People" + "YPM Camp"... and this site comes out on the first page (i.e. first 10 results)... Just think of the possibilities... :) :)
- i'm still working on the new layout/ template... i hope to put some "major" changes up soon, like by the end of the week... :P
- i like this "category" idea. and i'm trying to incorporate it into the site. But that will be a challenge, coz blogger.com doesn't seem to offer it easily (as yet)... so i'll really have to "squeeze brain juice" to think how i can make categories and link them correctly, and properly categorize each post.
- i realli hope that this site can slowly develop into something close to a forum (tho' not exactly lah)... a common place for "community-building" and vision-casting... feedback... comments are the real way i hope to hear from different ones in YPM. just leave any kinda message. LEMME Know our Young People's Ministry is alive! :P i don't think i'll be putting any tag-boards up - simply coz i don't see why tag-boards need to exist.
Okay. such a long post... signing off for now. (are you subscribed on atom yet? :)
Ja mata ne! (bye bye)
