$$ inheritance from parents?
$$ for future marriage?a life sold out for Jesus is never wasted -> it's beautiful in God's sight.

she was sharply criticized! even the 12 apostles criticized her - "crazy!"
Extraordinary Christian -> will be criticized.
She knew that it was a beautiful thing in the eyes of the Lord.- Broke it - True brokeness and humility
True spiritual pride - God without you I can make it on my own.
What are the things we can't live without?
Until we need God the way we need air...
5 examples of broken things used to do great things:
- Judges 6-8 Broken pitcher
- Mark 14:3 Broken box - oil poured
- Mark 14:10 Broken bread
- 1 Corinthians 11:24 Broken body, world to save
- Psalm 51:17 Broken will, fulfilled in Jesus Christ

laying down for God's disposal
